  • Volunteer Coaching staff for Granite FC:

15UB 2010/2011 will be Coach Scott King and Coach Wes Wyles. Both have an extensive Soccer background as players at the Rec, Select, Premier and College level and continue to play in adult leagues. Both Coaches have been coaching for over 6 years. Coach Scott holds his Level I and Level III Coaching Diplomas through United Soccer and Coach Wes holds his Level III Diploma through United Soccer. They both continue to educate themselves as Coaches through the WPL Coaching classes. After many years of being asked by both players and Parents to Coach a Select team in Granite Falls, they both finally said yes! We are excited to have them to share their expertise, passion and positive Coaching style with these players.

Coach Scott will also be Coaching 13UB 2012.

We understand that competitive level Soccer is a commitment for the entire family and we appreciate the role you each play in this program. Our passion is to be able to offer year-round Soccer to players who want that next level, without the intense commitment or price tag. Each of our Coaches come with years of experience as players and Coaches themselves and continue to pursue Coach education. Our values will always remain the same, to bring the families in and around Granite Falls; a quality soccer program, a love for the game, building together as a team, character building, sportsmanship on and off the field and all while having fun! Each team will determine the number of tournaments they participate in during the year. Any additional tournament over 3 may have a cost to the families or use of sponsorship money. We highly encourage participation in all practices, when you are in town, because these contribute to player growth and team building. We also encourage players to play other sports, we just ask that you communicate with your coach scheduling conflicts ahead of time and try to attend at least one practice a week during the regular game season.
